Palady Homes' Directors
Alex Pearce
Having lived nearly all his life in Newbury, it was natural for Alex to want to co-found Palady Homes in the area. He started his construction career as a trainee surveyor working for a large private housebuilder, and obtained a degree in Quantity Surveying at the University of Bristol. He quickly progressed and at the age of 30 was appointed as Commercial Director for a volume housebuilder. He gradually became disenchanted with the industry and its lack of interest in clients, contractors and quality. Realising that he was gaining much more satisfaction from his own self-build projects, he left the large builders to team-up with long-time colleague Adrian Doyle to co-found Palady Homes in 2003.
Adrian Doyle
Adrian Doyle has almost two decades’ housebuilding experience. Born and educated in the Newbury area, he began his career as a surveyor, trained at the University of Reading and became a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, achieving two prestigious awards which placed him in the top 2% of that year's intake. He worked initially for a large housebuilder, quickly progressing to become commercial director, but in the process he became disenchanted with the volume house building industry's attitude to its clients. In 2003, after some highly successful freelance projects, Adrian co-founded Palady Homes with Alex Pearce to build high-quality homes which really meet the needs and aspirations of purchasers.
